Cetasol Receives Fleet-Wide Order from Brim Explorer for iHelm Installation

Cetasol is proud to announce that we have received an order to install our smart energy optimization solution, iHelm, across the entire fleet of Brim Explorer. This marks a major step in our mission to support sustainable maritime operations. With iHelm, all Brim Explorer vessels will now be powered by Cetasol, helping further reduce emissions and increase operational efficiency.

Brim Explorer is a trailblazing company offering silent and sustainable boat tours through the majestic fjords of Norway. Their innovative vessels are designed with both customer experience and environmental protection in mind. Brim shows that tourism and sustainability can go hand in hand.

All of their ships are constructed from aluminum,lightweight, durable, and fully recyclable. The design includes panoramic windows, comfortable lounges, and open decks that allow guests to enjoy Norway’s spectacular views without pollution or noise.

The vessels are equipped with hybrid-electric drivetrains that produce minimal noise and vibrations, minimizing impact on marine life while enhancing the experience for guests. These flexible ships can recharge at any port and operate for up to 8 hours at a cruising speed of 5 knots.

We are especially excited to support Brim’s fleet, including MS Brim, MS Berg, MS Bard, MS Bre, and MS Bris, as they continue their work in shaping a cleaner, more responsible maritime industry.
