Winner of the Stena Line Propeller Prize

Cetasol has been announced as the winner of the prestigious Stena Line Propeller Prize 2025!

This recognition marks an important milestone in our journey to accelerate the transformation toward smarter and more sustainable marine operations.We won in the category of maritime technology, thanks to our innovative business idea, verified proof of concept, and strong scalability.

The jury’s motivation during the announcement highlighted the strengths of our team and mission:

“This is a modern company, with a strong variety of international competence within the team. They have an ambition to grow and a strong focus to help their customers towards more sustainable, economical, and energy-optimized operation.”

The Stena Line Propeller Prize is an annual competition awarded to companies that have existed for no longer than five years. It honors those who demonstrate a spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship, and a commitment to growth.

This year’s award ceremony took place during the Innovation Day organized by Blue Science Park in Karlskrona. Due to current conditions, the event was held online. Representing our team was Ida, who joined the digital stage to receive the award.

It was an inspiring and energizing event, and we are genuinely honored to have been selected. Winning this award is not only a recognition of our solution but a validation that our vision and dedication resonate with others. We are grateful that the jury saw the value and potential in our mission.

Cetasol was announced the winner of the Stena Line Propeller Prize. We won in the category of maritime technology as a result of our business idea, documented proof of concept, and scalability.

The Stena Line Propeller Prize is a competition that is held annually. The award is for companies that have existed for no longer than five years. The nominated companies also have a spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship, and a commitment to grow. The prize is sought to encourage companies to enrich and further develop the good business climate in the region. Stena Line has written an article about the ceremony. The award was held during the Innovation Day of the Blue Science Park in Karlskrona. This year the Innovation day and ceremony were held online and our team member Ida was the one joining. It was an inspiring event and we were glad to be a part of it. We are also of course very pleased about being the winner of the award, not only for the award itself but for the fact that our vision and ambition came through to the jury.
